The road to discovery

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make this announcement without giving away too many details.  I’ve been so excited about this next book (the third in the Limitless series) that I just can’t keep the secret any longer.  I told the girls in my group about it the other night but I thought it’s time to spread the word to the world.

I’m just about done with Unconventional, Jay’s story, but I’ve been plotting and planning for the third book in the series as well. I won’t say whose book it is but I will say it’s going to be one of the more unique ones of the series.  When I started writing I always knew I wanted to write a book like this, I just didn’t know who the characters would be until I started writing Unconventional.  The character just took on a life of her own and has not stopped telling mer her story since she came about.

So what’s the big announcement, you might ask? Well, I’m extremely excited to announce that the third book in the Limitless series will be a F/F book! If I could pause for dramatic effect, I totally would.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited to write a story.  I wanted to talk about a few points of the book and why it’s important to me for this story to come to light.

I know that this story might actually lose me some readers, but I’m hoping that everyone will hear me out and give this book a chance.

I think it’s extremely important for people to see that there is no difference between straight love and Lesbian/Gay/Trans/etc love.  It can all be the same life changing, earth shattering, soul completing love regardless of who you are and who it is you’re heart is drawn to.  Being straight, being gay, being whoever it is you are is okay and I want to make sure that this book makes that case.  I can’t remember a time where I haven’t been apart or supporting the LBGTQ community.  And for me, I’ve always wanted my writing to make an impact on people, and I think I can do that by breaking the stigma of what is normal and not normal, especially when it comes to relationships.

I also wanted to do something out of the norm when it comes to fiction and romance.  I know that most F/F books are all in the erotica genre, which is totally awesome and I’m supportive of those 100%.  But, this book will not be erotica.  Sure, there will be some sex in there, but this story is more than that, it’s about being on the path of discovery and how being on that path can be just as beautiful as it is intense, especially when you’re with the right person.

I’ll be posting updates as I go along but I wanted to make the full announcement.  This is basically me shouting it from the roof tops in the only way that I can.
